This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs cancellations, refunds, and amendments for travel services booked through Travessence India Pvt Ltd both offline and online (“we”, “our”, “us”) via our website www.travessencedmc.com (the “Website”). By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
This policy is framed in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and relevant rules and guidelines.
1. Scope of Services
This policy applies to all travel-related services offered on our Website, including but not limited to:

- Hotel bookings
- Transportation services
- Activities and excursions
- Corporate and group travel bookings
2. Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or through the phone call or Whatsapp (where available). The cancellation date will be the date on which we receive your written request.
a. Standard Cancellation Charges
Unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation or service-specific terms, the following cancellation charges shall apply:

- More than 30 days before departure: No Cancellation Charges
- 15 days before departure: 5% of total booking value
- 10 days before departure: 30% of total booking value
- 5 days before departure: 50% of total booking value
- Less than 2 days before departure / No-show: 100% of total booking value (no refund)
Note: Some services such as flights, visas, peak-season hotels, promotional fares, or third-party services may have stricter or non-refundable policies
3. Cancellation of Specific Components
If your booking includes multiple components (e.g., hotel + transport + activities), cancellation charges may apply separately to each component based on supplier policies.
4. Refund Process

- Eligible refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment.
- Refunds are generally processed within 7-10 working days after confirmation of cancellation and receipt of funds from service providers.
- Bank charges, payment gateway fees, and administrative charges (if any) are non-refundable.
5. Amendments / Rescheduling

- Requests for date changes or amendments are subject to availability and supplier policies.
- Additional charges or fare differences may apply.
- Some bookings may be non-amendable.
6. Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unavoidable circumstances including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, supplier issues, or force majeure events.
In such cases:

- We may offer an alternative service or travel date; or
- Provide a refund after deducting non-recoverable costs, as applicable
7. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including acts of God, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or weather conditions. Refunds in such cases will be subject to recoverability from suppliers.
8. No-Show Policy
Failure to report for a scheduled service without prior cancellation shall be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be provided.
9. Special Notes for International Travel

- Visa fees are non-refundable once applied.
- Airline tickets are subject to airline rules.
- Foreign exchange fluctuations and international bank charges may affect refund amounts.
